money power land solidarity's podcast

Nov 19, 2019

This episode opens with North Minneapolis architect and community based developer Paul Bauknight reading an excerpt from his powerful letter of resignation from the Upper Harbor Terminal Collaborative Planning Committee (CPC). Mr. Bauknight, along w/ Committee co-chair Tessa Antilla, resigned from there appointed positions on the CPC stating that the process could not produce justice or equity for North Minneapolis. We sat down with Mr. Bauknight to talk about the potentials of the Upper Harbor Terminal development, his decision to resign and how the community can organize to take the UHT back from wealthy developers and the private real estate market.
